Couvent de La Tourette
The convent of Sainte-Marie de La Tourette is home to a Dominican community of around ten people. Some brothers work on site, others off, but most alternate between the two. The day at the convent is punctuated by times of work, exchange and common prayer.
Our convent is a house of welcome, sharing, reflection and prayer. Anyone who so wishes can experience this exceptional example of modern architecture, of which its creator Le Corbusier said: “it is not spoken of, but lived from within”.
We welcome a variety of professional and religious groups, as well as individuals, for one or more days. We also have our own program of activities, the “Rencontres de La Tourette”, which take place throughout the year.
